New Account Experience (Account Manager)

FAQ

Q: Why is Bluehost changing?

A: Bluehost has optimized the design and features to make managing your site easier and more straightforward.

 

Q: When will my account be updated?

A: We will be continuously rolling out the new interface starting in April 2023.

 

Q: Can I log in with my existing username and password?

A: Yes, you will continue to log in to Bluehost using your existing username or domain and password.

 

Q: Can I go back to the old interface?

A: Bluehost has upgraded to our new interface to provide you more streamlined Hosting services and security. We constantly listen to your feedback and make changes and updates based on what we hear from you. You can expect continuous updates and improvements in the future, but the old system will no longer be accessible. 

 

Q: Will my site and services be impacted?

A: Your site will not be impacted; however, the availability of some services will vary between the user interfaces.
With the implementation of Account Manager, u
sers will no longer have access to:

  • WP Live - This will be replaced by Pro Design Live

Users will no longer be able to:

  • use account passwords or tokens for validation - a Security Pin will be used going forward. 
 

Q: Where is cPanel?

A: While you won't see a traditional cPanel, you can access the same settings and options in Account Manager. Once you’re logged in to your Bluehost account:

  1. select the Hosting tab, and locate the website you wish to manage.
  2. Click the vertical ellipses () icon, then click Manage.
  3. You will see your site management options from here, as you would in cPanel.

Note:

  • Rock accounts will feature a Renew Now button in the top right corner of the screen, while Account Manager users will see the RENEWAL CENTER in the vertical side navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • If you are still unsure whether your account uses the Rock or Account Manager interface, please see Account Manager vs. Rock to identify the appropriate steps to take.
